Joe Craver on SAIC’s Promotion of James Moos to Engineering Group GM

moos-james-304James Moos has elevated to SVP and GM of SAIC’s engineering solutions group and will lead 4,900 employees that work on energy, environment and infrastructure projects.

The 14-year company vet was previously deputy GM and has led the environment and civil infrastructure operation since he joined the company.

Joe-CraverJoe Craver, President of SAIC‘s health and engineering sector, said Moos will aim to drive the company’s strategy to build and diversify its engineering business.

Moos, a 24-year industry vet, served in the Army Corps of Engineers and the Navy’s nuclear power program before joining SAIC.

Mark Nackman Moves Up to VP, General Counsel at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems

NackmanMark Nackman has been appointed VP and general counsel at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems and will be responsible for the unit’s legal, export, contracts and subcontract functions.

The former Air Force Judge Advocate is an adjunct professor at George Washington University law school and teaches in the scholarly writing program.

Before joining General Dynamics as an assistant general counsel, Nackman served as VP and associate general counsel for the missile products group at ATK.

Rich Sorelle Elevates to Exelis’ Electronic Systems President

RichSorelleRich Sorelle has been promoted to president of ITT Exelis’ electronic systems division where he will be responsible for the division’s performance, strategy, leadership and customer relations.

The 16-year company was VP and general manager of integrated electronic warfare systems prior to his new appointment and was previously at Northrop Grumman.

In another executive move at Exelis, Joe Rambala will assume Sorelle’s previous role as the head of the division that produces electronic warfare systems for tactical, strategic and rotary-wing aircraft.

The Honeywell vet has been with Exelis since 2004 and has held program management, BD and engineering positions at the firm.

Constance Soloway is Northrop’s New Electronic Systems HR VP

ConstanceSolowayConstance Soloway has elevated to Northrop Grumman VP of human resources in the electronic systems sector where she will develop and implement programs meant to help develop employees meet the sector’s talent needs.

The 28-year company veteran was most recently VP in Northrop’s shared services organization and was HR director for the engineering, manufacturing and logistics function.

Soloway also served as director of learning and development and director of HR for the targeting systems division.
